Department

General Description

This department deals with small to medium Websites designed with an intelligent architecture, so working closely related to our I-DBs Department that deals with large Internet systems with high volume of online transactions versus large and complex databases. However we almost try to adapt the technologies implemented in those sites to any site becoming I-Websites.

Along these two last years, millions of site owners have suffered the inconveniences of not have taken basic preventive measures from the beginning in the belief that Internet was easy and trivial. Internet is nice, from now on a cultural need but far from easy as long as you want to use it for a little more than light entertainment. I-preventions are free most times, it's only a matter of thinking systemic, making trivial questions about your actual and future needs. In all our I-designs we embody I-URL's instead single URL's and we keep everything potentially useful about your visitors. For us the track of your visitors when browsing your site is extremely important because it tell many things statistically.

 Consulting
  • Feasibility Studies: As efficiency expert Covey says: The first is the First, not a truism. Nobody could be a satisfactory explanation about the absence of feasibility studies in the dot com, but surely it could be on of the causes of the actual crisis this domain is suffering. When you decide to have your home dream you hire the services of an architect first and then once decide the style, and the whole special distribution you hire an engineering firm and then a builder contractor. We teach our little child to follow these logical steps via toys. Website design and implementation needs first a feasibility study to answer the classic logic questions: why?. How?. What for?, When?, How much?, With whom?, Where?, Whence?, and some others in several levels of detail. These studies are not expensive, and could be performed fast, from 3% to 6% of the total Website cost and completed in a couple of weeks respectively. More

  •  Procurement
Now another question arises: "By ourselves or by outsourcing?". As we commented for our PC and Programming Departments there is a trend about to delegate in others what is highly specialized and not substantial to perform the direct goal of your business. More
